William Curle began his career as an Engineering Apprentice where he gained experience on coal and ash handling projects in the power industry, in the manufacturing
of tunnel boring equipment, general steelwork and pipework fabrication and installation.
In 1990, he identified a niche market in the field of bulk solids handling and established a business as a design and build contractor for complete bulk storage and
conveying systems.
In 2002, William formed William Curle Developments Ltd to specifically develop solutions for offshore drill cuttings. Following his success, he was approached by oil
and gas service company, in 2005 as they wanted to use the patented technology for the bulk storage and conveying of Offshore Drilling Waste (HCBTM Tanks).
From 2012, The focus has been on technologies that transform waste materials into valued products. These technologies are green, clean and circular with innovation
incorporated into the process that achieves carbon negative.
